As an author, the themes of loss and change are often central to my writing and these themes continue through my visual art.
Predominantly working with broken glass and discarded materials, I strive to take the shattered, the broken and create a new and beautiful whole.

I believe that nothing is ever truly broken or lost, rather it is altered and open to becoming something new, whole and although different, still beautiful.

This is also true of the human experience with life constantly shaping and reshaping us through love, loss and simply living and we often have to reassemble the shards of ourselves; reimagine ourselves and our world, eventually emerging whole and, although altered, still beautiful.

Finding beauty in the broken is also captured in the verse I write to accompany my pieces.
